We Pause to Honor One of Our chartered Members who transitioned this year. She is Our First Lady Emeritus, Seeding Evangelist Wife, and A well Loved Member of the Vanburen/Farwest Congregation, Dr Opear Ree Myles.

On the 9th of March 2025 A Beautiful Sunday Morning God summoned home a Seasoned saint at the ripe old age Of 96. After a few years in hospice she finally was reliefed of her active duties on these mundane Shores and crossed the chilly Jordan of Death to meet her husband and several Loved one's who had gone on before her.

Dr Opear Myles Served in several capacities, but had a fond Desire to cook and make people happy with her gifted hands and recipes that many loved to partake of. In addition to that she was a spiritual council well sought out by many. and she was honored by many.

Sis Myles was very active in the Chicago metropolitan area where she served a long time as assistant treasurer under Bro Levi Kennedy until well passed his death, as well as staff member for the national Dinner day for South Western Christian College and the crusade for Christ. Sis myles was also a senior supporter for the youth activities along with several other of our Sensational Seniors in Chicago IL. in addition to her services in Chicago Dr Myles had bestowed upon her an honory Doctorate of human letters by South Western Christian College by the then Honorable Dr Jack Evans Senior.
